For the past eight years, the Forest Service and the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce have partnered to bring our visitors a special musical program called “Caroling in the Caverns”. These programs have sold out every year. Because of their popularity, the partners have created a new series of musical programs to be presented at the Caverns. The first program is called “Cupid at the Caverns”. This musical program will take place on Feb. 13 and 14; given those dates, it focuses on traditional love songs. The second musical program is called “Celtic in the Caverns” and takes place on March 13 and 14. Because so many of the settlers to the Ozarks have a Scots-Irish background, this program will feature Irish and Celtic music. The new programs will have two seatings—2:30 pm and 4:30 pm. The earlier seating will also offer an early-bird tour. The new programs will feature local musicians as do the popular Caroling programs.Only 400 tickets will be available for each weekend. Tickets may be obtained by contacting the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce at 870-269-9068 or 888-679-2859. The Chamber website is www.yourplaceinthemountains.com; or you may call the Caverns at either 1-888-757-2246 or 870-757-2211.
