The Stripers are in Their winter Pattern and are 1/2 Way Back In The creeks And Caught on Grubs.  These and some more were caught Monday Morning and join bass and crappie as the best bite on the lake.  Weather is to be cool and below normal temperatures which should keep fishing good for a while.  Level is now stable and the lake in general in very good condition.

Norfork Lake winter crappie fishing at its best. It seems like it is spring already and it's only  Febuary. Fish were in 35 - 40 ft. of water insde of the brush. It was difficult fishing because of strong northwest wind. Crappie and bass are currently the best bites on the lake.

It kept getting warmer and warmer as it got dark and then it started lightening in the north.  I fished until it was too dark to see and caught several crappie.  They were biting very slowly and not very agressive.  It rained hard most of the night with over an inch and the creeks are running again with the lake rising.
