Yep!  I put a fire ring between the dock and the cabin this last summer.  Those cool nights needed a little warmth on the outside to go with the cool evenings we get until the middle of June.  What a great way to relax.  Just my wife and I sitting by a warm fire watching the river go by and the fog roll in thinking about the next days fishing adventure.  As I add another log to the fire I hear a big fish splash in the river below me and look to see the ring it left; and again it splashes like it is calling for me.  But no-I am way to comfortable sitting by this warm fire.  Our fire is roaring now and my wife reminds me we have some marshmallows.  I find a couple of sticks and sharpen the ends with my pocket knife... perfect.  The fire lights up the evening as we roast our marshmallows over the fire.  The fog has rolled in and the evening gets a little cooler.  The warmth of that fire sure feels good.
