From its source in the rugged Boston Mountains range of the Ozarks, the Buffalo National River descends nearly 2,000 feet creating magnificent cliffs and mountain. Nearly 95,000 acres of protected public land along its route, the Buffalo River in Arkansas is home to a variety of wildlife.
Hiking the trails and horseback riding are excellent ways to experience the Ozarks and the Buffalo river, but canoeing is a MUST !
