Floodless Fourth Fireworks & Fishing

Sometimes all it takes to change a mindset is a small bit of dynamic data. The river has been back in its bed for several weeks now; but unfortunately a lot of folks haven't received that message. They're still operating on the perception that there's flooding here and that simply isn't true. And the fishing is red-hot! One of our favorite clients from South Carolina, Rick, caught 7 fish next to our campground in less than 45 minutes last week. These Rainbow bad boys, in the pound to pound and a half range, loved Rick's Panther Martin spinners. Rick's fun came to a sickening stop when he caught his line on a brushpile and broke his favorite rod. You can bet your lucky fishing hat he'll have a brand new one when he returns in July. Our guesthouse is still available for this week-end. Flippin fireworks on Sun. night will accelerate our patriotic mood and there are plenty of special events in the area to satisfy a wide range of interests.
