Hallelujah Hackles

My choir buddy and fellow fly fisher, Gil, reported two nice Rainbows this past week-end during low water. Soft hackles were the ticket and the more beat up the better. Since we were in church, I'll take Gil at his word. One was 21" and the other 22" along with 12 others over a pound. He caught them on the White between The Narrows and Wildcat Shoals. He's just a young feller over 80 and my fishin' hero. You go Gil!
