Rain & Fishing
We have recently experienced a great deal of rain here in the Ozarks. Sometimes it seems to be depressing and never ending but if you have some rain gear and there is no lightning, get out there and catch some nice fish. It seems the rain running into the creeks has not hurt the fishing but helped and there have been some beautiful bass and crappie caught. While fishing, it is funny how quick you forget that it is raining when those fish start biting. During the Bass Cat tournament last week, the biggest bass in many years were being caught with 3lb average fish. We know there are a lot of big fish in Lake Norfork since we had fantastic spawns in 08 when the lake was very high for a long time and there is a lot of small fish to eat. The rain is ending now with 70 & 80 degree temps expected for the next couple of weeks and summer on its way, so come down and experience some big fish.
