Harrison, Mountain Home, Buffalo & White River, Bull Shoals & Norfork lake Media Links

Seems that of late, much of the main stream media has been eager to write their opinion of our popular little area of the Ozark Mountains.  Here are a few of the most recent links:

The National Geographic Travel Section published in June of 2009 mentions much of the Ozarks including Buffalo River.  

St Louis Post Dispatch wrote an article about Harrison, AR in June of 2009 taking the time to brag on several of Ozark Mountain Region's member businesses such as Hotel SevilleBuffalo Outdoor CenterGilbert Store and Canoe, and the Harrison Convention and Visitor's Bureau

In 2008, the Outdoor Life Magazine named Mountain Home, AR as the #1 Outdoor "City" to Live in.  

Also, in 2008, Sports Afield said that Mountain Home, AR as the Best Outdoors Sports Town - nationally.

 

Returning in 2009, Outdoor Life Magazine again gave Mountain Home, Arkansas props as they run out their top 200 towns

Mountain Home was again in top 10% of an outstanding field of outdoors paradises.
