Lost Valley Hike and Cave
One of the most accessible hikes, and most beautiful in the state of Arkansas. Park at the Lost Valley campground just a few miles west of Ponca on highway 43. Get driving directions here. The trail head is in the campground. The 1.1 mile trail will parallel a creekbed. Many find it even more scenic and challenging to walk up the creekbed.
Hikers wil be rewarded for their efforts with the Natural Bridge and it's own waterfall coming out of it into a swimming hole. Cobb cave, is not so much a cave but a large hollow under a cliff. Further up the hillside is Eden Falls, which flows out of Eden Cave.
For the most adventurous hikers (who bring their flashlights) it is a real treat to enter the cave, and crawl through the tunnel at the back of the cave. About 100 feet back is another room with a 30 foot waterfall at the back of the cave.
