Rick Brown catches big Brown Trout

Rick Brown of Springdale, AR caught a 9 lb 11 oz Brown trout last Saturday morning while fishing with a group of friends on the White River. Instead of the normal baits or lures for catching browns, Rick caught this monster on green PowerBait paste! Usually all that hits that are small rainbows. This was the biggest trout  Rick has ever caught though he has been fishing the river for years. The group was competing in their own friendly tournament. His one fish weighed more than anybody else's total for 10 fish.

Strange things do happen when fishing for trout on the White River. Rick was part of a group of friends staying at the White Hole Resort.
