The concept of Neighbor's Mill was started by Mike and Karin Nabors of Harrison, Arkansas. They wanted to produce quality made-from-scratch, handcrafted breads and pastries. The goal was to make bread the star of the show. They wanted to create a unique atmosphere reminiscent of a 19th century gristmill. Neighbor’s Mill Harrison opened in 2000. With time their children decided to enter the family business. The Harrison location is currently owned and operated by Cary Nabors. The Springfield, MO location is owned and operated by Lauren (Nabors) Brown and her husband Clif. Each morning our stone grist mills grind chemical-free Montana wheat into fresh flour for use in our handcrafted breads and delicious cookies and pastries. We serve breakfast, lunch, & dinner. For breakfast, we serve eggs, French toast, breakfast sandwiches, omelets, plus a huge variety of freshly baked bakery items. For lunch and dinner, we offer hot & cold sandwiches, salads, & soups. We use premium ingredients to produce exceptional products. We buy organic and local when we can and we never add preservatives to anything we make.
